Radiology Technologist - Radiology
Full Time
Monday - Friday
9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On-Call rotation: 1 night per week and every 5th to 6th weekend
Functions include but are not limited to patient preparation, diagnostic x-rays and performing additional tasks as directed. Must know proper operation of all equipment in your expertise and practice safety in radiation exposure. Use radiation protection on self and patients whenever possible. Be able to produce a radiograph to present for proper medical evaluation. Must maintain strictest confidentiality according to hospital and HIPAA guidelines. Must maintain effective communication with physicians, patients, department staff and other hospital employees. Must have computer skills, be able to work in order entry and work with orders to properly order and charge exams. Must treat all patients with dignity, respect and concern for their well-being.
Requirement
A Radiology Technologist License issued by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts
Current Certification with the ARRT
Current BLS Certification
Previous CT experience preferred
